05 /12/2007 : BMM Goes Karting At Rye House On the 5th of December, the Brunel Masters Motorsport team gathered at the Rye House International Circuit, in Motorsport World, Hertfordshire. For the team, this was one of the most anticipated events of the term, not only because of the fun but also because the results of this test are used to determine the best drivers for the Formula Student competition. At the beginning of the warm-up laps the track was partially wet, but after 15 minutes of race, it started to rain very hard and the track demanded the best from each driver. Despite the conditions of the track and some yellow flags due to minor accidents, everybody was doing a great job. But among the competing teams, the couples formed by Bernat Carreras-Ricardo Canal and Michael Thomas-Vasileios Kanellopoulos were the fastest teams on the track. At the end, only the adrenaline rush kept the drivers warm after one hour and a half of racing in wet conditions on a temperature below 5°C.
