  The car that Brunel Masters Motorsports will use in the 2008 Formula Student competition 
  began life as a Brunel Racing car BR-5. For the first time in the history of the Brunel Masters
  team we will build a complete, working car in the class 1-200 using this car. It is considered
  by many people to be the one of the best cars to be designed by Brunel students as it won
  the Sir Henry Royce Prize for Engineering Excellence in 2004. However, it did not do very well
  in the dynamic events as it encountered some engine problems.

  The team has carefully considered the use of this car and from October have been working on
  designing a competitive package for the competition. We strongly believe that its light weight
  will help us achieve a finished product capable of doing very well in the competition.
